Privacy
In short: TodrixPad doesn't collect personal data. The apps only talk between your iPhone and your Mac, on your network. The site uses no cookies or analytics.

TodrixPad iPhone app
- No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. The app sends no data to us or to third parties.
- It communicates only with your Mac, on the local network, over an encrypted connection (TLS 1.3). It finds it with Bonjour: that's why it asks for the Local Network permission.
- The camera is used only to scan the pairing QR code shown by the Mac: images are neither saved nor sent.
- These stay only on the iPhone: the settings (the Mac's address), your keys (the file
keys.json) and the pairing with the Mac, in the iOS Keychain, only on this device. - The iPhone's name is shown on your Mac when you pair the two devices, so you can recognize it.
TodrixPad Mac app
- It receives commands only from iPhones you paired and approved, and runs them on your Mac. It sends no data to us or to third parties.
- These stay only on the Mac: the settings, the paired iPhones (name, date, last use and a fingerprint of their key, in the Keychain) and an activity log in
~/Library/Logs/TodrixPad, useful in case of problems. The log never leaves the Mac. - Updates: once a day (it can be turned off in Settings) the app downloads the list of versions from this site (
appcast.xml), like a browser does with a page: the site sees the IP address and the app version, nothing else. If you download an update, the file comes from GitHub. - The macOS permissions (Accessibility, Screen Recording, Local Network, Automation) are used only to run the keys you press: for example the screenshot is saved to your Desktop.
This site
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads. The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other sites.
- The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web service, to deliver and protect the pages Google processes the technical data of the request, such as the IP address and the browser used. We don't use this data.
- The Mac app file is downloaded from GitHub (Microsoft): only when you press “Download”, GitHub processes the IP address and the technical data of the request to deliver the file. We don't receive them.
- If you email us, we'll use your address and message only to reply.
